Who we are | History
The Las Lilas de Areco Museum from Las Lilas foundation presents a very valuable selection of the original work of art of renowned Don Florencio Molina Campos (1891-1959). His work of art includes watercolors, pastels and temperas that were used during the different stages of his career together with advertising posters, sheets and some personal items. These compose the artistic and cultural heritage displaced at the museum.

Besides promoting the work of the artist, Las Lilas Foundation aims at encouraging the interest in the Argentine Art and culture within a local, regional and international scope. It offers exhibitions, conferences about different genres and artistic expressions from the pre-Columbian period until today.

San Antonio de Areco, known as the capital of the gaucho tradition, is a touristic, warm and welcoming city, boasting the perfect frame for the museum. Ricardo Güiraldes, author of “Don Segundo Sombra”, a landmark of our literature, was born here.
